Year-End Event

The first year-end reception of the Science & Technology Diplomatic Circle Kansai (S&TDC) was held at the India Club in Kobe with great festive spirit. The year-end reception saw Consul General Nikhilesh Giri hosting the special gathering, alongside S&TDC Kansai Chairman, Consul & Swissnex CEO Felix Moesner, and MOFA Ambassador Tsutomu Himeno as toastmaster.

In its first year after inauguration in July 2022, the S&TDC organized five insightful activities with government, academia, and the private sector. With almost 40 members, partners, and key stakeholders such as METI, RIKEN and Panasonic joining the year-end event, the open science diplomacy network grew significantly stronger.

The guests enjoyed the festive atmosphere while looking back on their valuable experiences in the past year, exchanging ideas for the future events, and engaging in fruitful discussions. They expressed their highest appreciation to the generous hospitality of the Consul General of India, Nikhilesh Giri. Everyone wished each other happy holidays amidst the warm atmosphere.
